Mom presence #3

Sometimes, we can be physically present with our kids. And even mindfully present with our kids. But there’s still something missing: expressing our love.

If you’ve noticed that you haven’t been expressing the love you feel for your kids, nothing’s gone wrong. It’s just something you’ve forgotten to think on purpose. To take from your storehouse of thoughts and bring into your conscious thoughts.

All you have to do is bring it to the fore. And then let that love spill over into actual expression.

Express the love you feel for your kids. You choose what you want to do. Here are some ideas: ruffle their hair, tell them how much you love them, snuggle a little extra by bedtime, rub their back at bedtime.
